I am an inspired storyteller who is dedicated to effecting positive change in my community.  My 18 years of experience as a visual journalist has focused on illuminating the lives and challenges of the underprivileged and marginalized with intimacy, dignity and empathy.  I have been humbled and gratified to see my work educate, motivate and raise money for many good causes over the years.

I also work as a volunteer doula at Sutter Davis Hospital, providing emotional and physical support for women of all backgrounds during labor and birth.
